On Monday, March 16, 2015, Anna Colin came to present at Les Laboratoires the activities and challenges of Open School East, a space dedicated to the artistic development and exchange of knowledge and expertise between different communities - artistic, local and other.

This seance integrated the cycle of lectures initiated by Marie Preston and Gwenola Wagon Comment faire d'une classe une oeuvre d'art  [How to make a class a work of art?]. Two of these conferences were hosted by Les Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers and the latter was recorded. It is possible to listen to it here :

The Open School East Association, co-founded by Anna Colin in 2013, is currently based in a former library and community center located in De Beauvoir Town in East London. Open School East is an educational and informal socio-cultural space, ruled by principles of experimentation, cooperation and self-management. Through the 'study program' and its public program, Open School East works closely with a group of 14 associate artists for 10 months, and with multiple local practitioners and public from diverse horizon over time.
