Mathilde Chénin earned her degree from the Ecole nationale supérieure d’arts de Paris-Cergy in May 2011. Since then she has continued to develop her artwork and her theory through research residences (Géographies Variables, Québec, 2012; La Box, Bourges, 2013). She also takes part in collective reflection processes concerning discursive forms of performance (Special Issue, Station service for contemporary dance, Belgrade, 2012), and gives workshops that explore possible bridges between choreography and algorithmic practices (Inscription, corps, machine, ENSAPC, Gaîté Lyrique, 2012).
