Franck Leibovici began a research project on "forms of life", or the ecosystems that produce an artistic practice. With the help of les Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers, he contacted a significant number of artists and asked them to produce a document, with no restrictions on its format, that illustrated or gave an account of this ecology of artwork. The elements gathered were made public in September 2012 with the publication of an atlas with stickers, presenting more than 70 artists’ responses, indexed according to a system of tags or key-words.
