Épouser.Stephen.King (Barbara Manzetti)

Épouser.Stephen.King. is what came out of a triple residence at les Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers, l’Espace Khiasma and the retirement home Les Quatre Saisons in Aubervilliers, by the author, choreographer Barbara Manzetti in 2011 and 2012. This rich book with its incredibly short phrases reveals, page after page, bodies, identities, it creates spaces, multiplies words in movement, trajectories through private and urban space. The text is a "performance in the form of a book" and offers up the author’s sensitive journey from choreography to literature. Barbara Manzetti remarks humorously "Movement took off running. In any case, I abandon form. I focus on content. This will be a book, or perhaps a perfume."
