Choreographer, dancer and writer, lives and works in Paris.
Sabine Macher comes from literary studies. At the beginning of the 1980s, she concentrated on dance and collaborated for instance to the projects of choreographer Georges Appaix. Aside from dancing, she writes and has published several books with different publishers. Sabine Macher’s entry to the Laboratoires was related to the assistance of a choreographic research project, which took place in public at the Laboratoires in the context of the event Ouverture 1 (fall, 2003).
